R v R EWHC (Fam) 2390 (13 August 2012)

In an ancillary relief case a Wife, who had formerly been a very succesful solicitor but whose firm had ceased to trade due largely to the economic downturn was awarded c.£4m. The award did not however include the transfer of shares in the company owned by H notwithstanding her significant contribution to the company’s crucial early years.
